The
VPA 316 analyzer
helps monitoring and diagnosing the turbines and provides for online or
offline analysis of a broad range of their parameters::
-
Vibrations
-
Thermal
expansions
-
Temperatures
-
Speed
-
Electrical parameters
The
vibration signals are proportional to the acceleration.
Being sensitive to high frequencies, they are being used for the
determination of the flaws in bearings, pumps, gears, power
generators, and supporting and sealing elements.

Through the integration of the accelerations in the time domain,
we obtain the vibrations velocity waveforms that show the
energies transmitted to the system’s components. The causes may
include mass imbalances, misalignments, critical speeds,
lubrication errors, improper thermal expansion, eccentric air
gap, or electrical imbalances.

The vibrations
spectra, multi-channel polar diagram, orbit diagram and results
list provide an overall image of the machine status.
The
FFT orbit diagram analyzes the trajectory of the shaft, for the
measurements performed with proximitors, or of the casing, for
the measurements performed with accelerometers. The movement of
the monitored point is being analyzed globally or decomposed
into desired harmonics.

The
input signals, final parameters and results of each analysis are
being saved in a proprietary format or exported to an Excel file
for presentation or specific processing purposes.
